  1. How are freight prices calculated?
    Dimensional Weight
    The freight carriers use something called dimensional weight. The freight carriers have switched to using this method for packages that are large, but not necessarily heavy.  
    The dimensional weight is calculated by taking the dimensions and dividing the volume by 194 (L x W x H = VOL / 194)

    General Calculation
    Here is how our freight is calculated: actual freight + insurance + $1.50 handling and materials + hazmat charges (if applicable)

  2. How accurate are the inventory counts in your store?
    We update our website inventory once a day automatically. Since we feature the same inventory over several market places we recommend that if you only see (1) in stock you contact us at support@knivesamerica.com or call us Toll Free: 1-855-746-6845 to check inventory. If by any chance you place an order and an item is out of stock we will quickly notify you and VOID the credit card transaction.
    The lastest product inventory will show the quantity of the product you are interested in the top portion of the description bar when you click, "Add To Cart" for that product.

  3. How do I track an order?
    When you place an order in our store you'll be given the option to setup an account. Within your account navigation you'll be able to obtain updates and tracking information when your item(s) ship. Even if you do not setup an account we will send you e-mail updates with tracking information so you can track your order in that manner.

  4. How long will it take to ship my order?
    We ship most of our orders within 1-2 business days from the time of purchase depending on business volumn. All orders placed before 11:00am PST will normally ship the same business day Monday - Friday. We do not work on weekends or holidays. If the item you ordeded is out of stock for some reason we will immediately void the transaction and notify you by e-mail.

  5. What types of payment options do I have?
    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Diner Club cards. We do not store or have access to your credit card information at any time. The information is processed securely and confidentially through our SSL Secure Payment Portal.
     
    NOTE: The billing address information on file with your bank for your credit card must be the same billing address you input into our payment system during your transaction. Also, the shipping address must match the billing address or the transaction will be cancelled for security measures. We will not ship our products to third parties. If an input discrepancy occurs our system will Decline the transaction. Thank you for your attention to this procedure and for your business.

  6. What will it cost to ship an item to my destination?
    You can verify shipping costs directly from our shopping cart. All you have to do is add the selected items to your shopping cart, and then click estimate shipping in the lower right of the page. All the available shipping options for the items in your shopping cart will appear with a dollar value next to them.

  7. How do I know if my credit card & personal information are secure?
    Our store incorporates a SSL Secure Server that codes all data so it cannot be compromised during transmission to our credit card processing portal. We do not store or have access to your credit card information at anytime. The information is confidentially used and discarded by our financial processing company once a decision is made regarding the transaction.
    Our store is constantly monitored for secure data compliance through Trustwave, a company and reporting agency for PCI & Bank Data Secure Compliance. Please click on the Validation Badge in the bottom left side of our home page to verify compliance with Trustwave.

  8. How does your company control the distribution of ammunition and similar items?

    For all ammunition and the sale of similar like items we require that an adult signs for the items upon delivery to the shipping address. If an adult is not present to sign for these items they are sent to a local distribution hub for pick up at a later date.
